Let
Go Into The Mystery

What we do not know about the mystery of life could challenge us for a
lifetime and maybe then some. Many of us go through life wondering what
our purpose is and just how we fit into the grand scheme of existence. For
many of us the answers are, seemingly, not easily found. We struggle
through our days with doubts, fears, and frustrations. Life, we think, is
more a hell than a heaven.
There are answers to be found, however, and they are found within
ourselves. To discover the hidden meanings of life we need to become more
fully aware of life. We need to look at every opportunity or hardship that
presents itself in our lives and closely examine the part we play in their
presence.
When we examine all the moments of existence, patterns emerge and we begin
to understand the parts we play in creating our joy and our misery.
Understanding the existence of these patterns allows us to discover ways
of either supporting them or undoing them. To be truly happy - to feel
good about ourselves - we must strive to undo the negative patterns which
bring us hardship and support those patterns which bring us joy.
Every day, we are confronted with choices. Often, they seem only to carry
us into the next series of choices and lead us to believe we are living in
a maze or a trap. What we most often do not realize is that we have
subconsciously limited our options to those which are convenient. We often
look for the lesser of two "evils".
We place demands upon the world which cannot always be met and we become
angry and resentful. If our demands are somehow met, we demand more
and more. We even attempt to control others, often close to us, to fulfill
our demands. When we experience something wonderful and exciting, we seek
even greater thrills.
When we embark upon spiritual counseling, we find direction on a different
road. We learn to let go into the mystery of life and respect the power
and guidance which comes from God within. We learn to trust our inner
sense of what is right for our lives in every situation.
When we gather in groups, as friends and family, to share our experiences
and examine those things which lead us away from joy, we work together to
envision our happiness and create the means through which our happiness
can be attained and maintained. We come together to worship the great
spirit within us and we reap the rewards of heaven which are our
birthright.
The greatest joy one can experience in life is communion with the great
spirit which resides within each and every one of us. It’s true! The
greatest source of power dwells within each and every one.
