Swim Journeys

Spirit of the Dolphin Journeys are facilitated experiences with wild
dolphins with a spiritual focus. Any time humans encounter dolphins they
are opened to an experience which is deeply and profoundly moving. It is
the journey of the heart opening - to themselves, to life. This state of
the open heart is the dolphin's very essence, the way in which they
consciously and mindfully live.
The purpose of Spirit of the
Dolphin Journeys is to facilitate an experience of initiation into the
dolphin consciousness for those who have felt their calling. This calling
shows itself when the dolphins present themselves in the dreamtime, in
meditation, by a strong desire for their images, or through a deep
"knowing" of the need to be in their presence. The initiation is
for those ready to open to the depths of themselves and see the truth of
who they are through their connection to the dolphin spirit. This is
catalyzed by the dolphin presence, swimming with them, but starts the
moment a commitment is made to take this journey, and continues long after
that.
My intention is to help each
participant understand what a journey such as this is really about, and to
help them expand into and integrate their experience with the dolphins.
Swimming with dolphins is a very multidimensional experience. It touches
people on all levels - emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual. Many
will find themselves blissed out immediately after swimming with them,
experiencing feelings of oneness, love, and deep peace. Others may respond
differently, feeling things in their own time, but all are touched in some
deep way.
I facilitate, through guided
meditations, and teaching and healing sessions, opening to the dolphin
higher consciousness so that we can receive what the dolphins are here to
give us. That is the ability to remember who we really are, where we came
from, and how to live an earthly life in the way of the open heart and
higher mind. We also give back to the dolphins at the closure of each trip
by entering into a space of deep prayer or meditation together, giving
thanks and sending light, love, and peace to them.
How we enter into our meeting
with the dolphins is a very important component of these journeys. This is
not just about what we can get from the dolphins, it is a coming together
of sentient beings in mutual respect and honoring with an understanding of
the sacred. This means we prepare ourselves for the meeting, seeking
clarity of intention and understanding of our desires to be with the
dolphins, understanding our ego needs, and preparing our bodies in the way
that is best for us. The actual swims are conducted in a very respectful
way. We enter the water mindfully and follow dolphin swim protocol,
swimming with arms to the side, following their lead with no grabbing or
chasing. They will show us how they wish to interact with us, be it
energetic and playful, or slow and dreamy.
Around all this we have fun,
the thing the dolphins do best! We play, relax, make new friends, eat good
food, play some more, change our lives, have more fun, and relax again,
all around beautiful warm water and tropical skies. If you feel the call

more about herself and her wonderful work:
Like many of us doing this work, I came to it through an unexpected life
changing experience with dolphins. In truth I never saw it coming, and
didn't know it was happening even while I was in the thick of it. I didn't
get the magnitude of what was happening until I returned from my first
dolphin swim and started having bizarre and amazing experiences. That

These experiences were
essentially my training in becoming adept at sensing and working with the
dolphin presence beyond the three dimensional form they embody. If I
hadn't had 10 years an an energetic healer to help me become familiar with
working in states of expanded consciousness I would have thought I was
losing my mind. Even at that, sometimes I thought I was going a little
crazy.
As I followed this new path
laid before me by the dolphins, there was one underlying message I kept
hearing, and that was "Bring people to us". Initially I was
unsure what that meant. I wasn't interested in doing dolphin swims all
summer, so I wasn't clear what was being asked of me. In time, however, I
came to see that I was being asked to serve as a bridge between the
dolphin and human worlds, sort of an ambassador to the Cetacean Nation.
