The
Soul At Work
by Jaelin K. Reece
This is a journey of love. It is the path
of the sacred rose. The journey is the destination. It is the
excitement and the adventure and the experience that fill us with joy now.
It is our collective leap that is forthcoming. Forerunners exist as light-bearers
to show us the way. It is their chosen path in this existence. This noble
task has incredible value. For without these forerunners, where would
the collective be? It is true that the value is hard to see in the midst
of day-to-day life, yet the immensity forces us to view this from a much
higher perspective. It is only then that the true level of value can be
clearly seen. The forerunners offer a priceless gift to the collective. It
is so highly valued that a price would seem indefinable! This value is the
stuff of gold and numerous riches, a collective treasury of all the
governments. It is a valuable service that these willing souls journey to
the edge of their own reality to accomplish. It is all a selfless act of
humanity and love.
It is the role of the forerunner to step
ahead of the pack and to lead. It is the role of the tour guide in
the jungle, swinging a machete to cut and clear a path for all to follow
with ease. This job has been done over and over again. The forerunners
excel in their chosen field. They have lead each turning point in history,
each time stepping out on their own to cut the path, to clear the way.
They mark the path, leaving breadcrumbs, a trail of string in the maze;
sometimes it is visible, other times it is veiled. True initiates of the
journey will uncover a trail left unkempt for centuries. This is where the
forerunners of today have begun.
This unspoken value, this level of service
to humanity surpasses anything we have known before. It exists at a higher
level than a "job" that we have labeled or defined in the realm
of the material world. It is a higher calling, a "soul career."
There are leaders and there are followers. There are souls who serve in
every step of the journey. Some soul careers, besides forerunner, include:
messenger, catalyst, traveler, seer, weaver, healer, and more. These
higher callings exist above and beyond the day-to-day, material world
careers and jobs. These soul careers contain a passion that stems from
authentic being. It is a force or power from within the very essence of
the being that drives the soul to fulfill their chosen roles.
Living the role of a soul career is a
challenge in the midst of the material world, caught in the ebb and flow
of material possessions. This level of worth and value has no comparison
to that of the soul career. The confusion lies in attempting to make a
comparison at all. There is no comparison, only recognition of
levels that can take place. In fact, there is no level other than truth.
It is a personal belief that lies in the heart of the individual, choosing
to compare with a value from outside, or from within. What lies in
the middle, what is the balance or truth here? We are souls,
fulfilling our career or life path and living in a material world where
most beings put a price on their role. What is the answer for the being
that exist in the realization of these two ways of being? They are both
truths, depending on your perception of truth.
Do we allow a value to be placed from an
external illusion of reality, or from an internal truth? This level of
perception must take place from a higher perspective. Viewing the bigger
picture shows us the truth of the situation. Value or worth is a personal
belief, all stemming from the identification of your surroundings. If you
perceive your world from the smaller view of the material world, such as
your office, or specific job as clerk, secretary, etc. then your value is
defined by that perception of your world. This is only one perception.
This particular perception stems from an external judge. For example, we
fit this particular role; therefore our worth is such as the standard
rate. Where is the truth for an internal view and path of the soul?
There must be a balance point where the
inner world and outer world combine in the realm of value, just as the
inner male and female have unified. There is a supposed view of the
term'value' that is confused in the realm of separation. It still exists
with a judgment or predetermining factor that states it is either plus or
minus. Why have we entered into a realm of unification and yet our
terminology has not? Is there an answer for this issue? Is there a need
for an answer? Yes. There is a material world combined with a spiritual
world. Both worlds are bridging together at this time, therefore the gap
in value must be bridged at the same time. The souls who are experiencing
high levels of work at a soul level and have difficulty making ends meet
in the financial world understand the path this is taking. Can a
soul career be defined by the value of a material world career? Can this
same standard or application be applied? Somehow it already has. It has
been applied by the souls who are doing this work.
There is a "shame" that appears
in the voice, a quiver that comes when our career is questioned.
"What do you do?" "I am a psychic." "I am a
healer." "I am a forerunner." What does this mean in the
material world? Yet, all the work that these forerunners and healers are
doing is making the path clear for those in the material world reality to
come to awareness of their spirit. It is happening more and more each day.
We are bringing souls closer to their true selves each time we speak.
People hang on every word that you say, ask questions like there is a
foreign world sitting right in their backyards. It is an amazing
experience to take someone on a journey into himself or herself for the
first time. Yet, where is the value in the material world? Does there need
to be one? Not according to the material standards, yet forerunners
and the like must live in a combined world existence. Can we bring the
level of value up to meet them? Must they come down to meet the standard?
Does there need to be a standard at all? There is only a standard if there
is still a level of separation. This separation creates a space for
judgment. Can we continue to judge these two worlds as separate?
Spiritual leaders and those fulfilling a
soul career have a deep value, yet theirs is not viewed as such in the
material world. The past has only seen the spiritual path as needing to be
one of sacrifice and martyrdom, according to the like of Mother Theresa.
Yes, there is a deep unconditional love, yet there need not be a sacrifice
involved any longer. There is a high value to this work. And it must be
seen as conducive, complimentary and balanced in the material world. There
should be no question of paying the bills or knowing what your worth is,
according to a standard that excludes you. The judge creates a standard so
that fear does not control or run rampant. It is safe if it is defined or
fits in with others. This is the ruling of the internal judge. Why
must there still be any level of separation at all? There does not need to
be. The bridging must happen at all levels, in all ways. It is a personal
experience of value and worth that must be defined. Can we see that the
soul work being done is serving all of humanity? We are working for the
entire world. Can we see our value in relation to that concept? Can we see
that we deserve the necessities of the material world and also the
abundance?
For the most part we want simplicity, yet
having our basic needs met and our desires fulfilled is our birthright as
well. By combining the worlds, there must be combined wants and desires as
well as worth. We deserve to have our wants and wishes fulfilled to. We
want the freedom in the material world as well, yet mostly are unaware of
how to function in the material realm by having a soul career. The soul
careers aren't always easily defined by material world means. Yet, we have
those desires as well. Aren't the roles we fulfill as great a value as the
material world standards? Yes. But how do we begin to comprehend this, and
instill it into our very being?
The illusion of separation has existed for
so long that when a bridge was installed, it was literally joining two
foreign countries. There must be mutual ground here now, a common
understanding and level of value that the spiritual beings can work within
the material world; and a level of spiritual understanding and
identification that the material world beings can work within the
spiritual realm. That's a mouthful. It is literally a foreign
territory that involves communication and compromise. There needs to be a
common language between the two worlds. What is the answer to this? Once
again we are drawn to the adage that awareness is 99% of everything. Can
the simple awareness of this level of understanding bridge the gap in the
language? Can it be that simple? We choose simplicity, yes indeed.
Between the two worlds, we come to see that
a common acceptance of both worlds, must take place. Coming from a
spiritual realm and having difficulty in the material world is basic,
non-acceptance of the material world. Why is it that we deny our material
needs and desires? Is it a judgment of the material world, or our
physicality? Yes. The basic concept and idea that we require love and
physical touch at this level is vital. "I am a physical being and I
require physical love and having all my desires met at a physical
level," is a good place to start. Why can we accept the greater
spiritual realm, which we trust implicitly, but not accept and trust the
physical reality we live in, can see and touch? Why have we separated from
our physical passion and desire? It means accepting our physical
existence. Harmony is about all aspects of ourselves being in tune with
each other.
For those who live in the material world,
not accepting their spiritual side, there is an emptiness. It is a feeling
that something is missing in their lives, yet the material nature of their
being focuses only on scientific fact, possessions and material careers.
Is this emptiness what causes the quest for religion and spiritual
guidance and connection? Is this feeling that spirit is outside of self a
result of non-acceptance of the spiritual side of their existence? Once
again harmony means accepting all aspects of the self, both the material
and spiritual in loving partnership.
This partnership is our goal, our drive and
desire. It is also our nemesis, our weak-spot, a thorn in our side. Our
own judgment and non-acceptance causes us to desire that which we feel we
do not have. Awareness truly is the first step. Acceptance can
follow close behind. Whether it is a soul career or a material career, it
is valuable, valid and worthwhile. Every being is an integral part of the
whole. Remember we are all one.
