NEW JUNE 29 - JULY 6, 2002 The
Importance Of Intent
by Taggart King
A wise friend of mine once said to me that "where thought goes,
energy flows" and I think that this principle applies very well to
Reiki. Some of us have been taught in quite a rigid way, learning that we
must always follow a particular prescription to achieve a desired effect,
whether this be a set form of words, a collection of symbols, or a
complicated ritual. That's fine: we can choose to do that if we like, but
I believe that underlying our form of words, our rituals and our symbols
is an important and powerful driving force: our intention. I believe that
we can move beyond the details, the constructed systems, to access that
simple, profound and powerful controlling force. Whatever we do, when we
do Reiki, we control the energy using our intention.

Female and
Forgetful: A Six-Step Program to Help Restore Your Memory and Sharpen Your
Mind
by Elisa Lottor, Ph.D., N.D. and Nancy P. Bruning While
scientists debate the subtleties of the categories of memory loss, women
march through my office with a litany of complaints. Often the first thing
they notice is that they are forgetting names of someone they've just been
introduced to in a business or social situation. This is one of the most
common and most infuriatingly embarrassing scenarios. Leah, who works for
a major university, finds she must constantly cope with looking ridiculous
before the student body. "I'm often introduced to students, and I
frequently cannot remember their faces or their names," she says.
"I find myself in situations where it's clear that I've met a student
before and we've talked with each other, but I have absolutely no
recollection of the face, let alone the name. It's very
embarrassing." CLICK

Are You Living Your Career Dreams
by Charlene Rashkow
Inherent within the human spirit is the desire for fulfillment, a longing
to carry out our creative aspirations by reaching new heights of
accomplishment. Yet often the yearning can be suppressed by fear.
Perhaps we aren’t feeling good enough, smart enough or able enough to
pursue and fulfill our dreams.
If you are contemplating a change in your career or wish to enhance your
business to a higher level but are hesitant to make the transition, let me
assure you that it is never too late to choose anew. As a matter of
fact, many people change career directions several times throughout a
lifetime and some don't even discover their true passions until much later
in life. If you are not living your career dreams and have been
putting them aside because you're terrified of trying something new, now
is the time to take a stand.

Recommended Book |
Not really a book on marketing, but rather, a book on spiritual
growth, "spiritual marketing" is a process where one changes
their inner self to open up to the abundance of the universe. While this
may not seem like a new idea, the author's approach is quite unique since
his background is in business marketing (he's not your typical spiritual
guru-type). And it is exactly this point of view--a marketing consultant
touting the benefits of inner spiritual work--that makes this book so
special. Originally written to teach his sister his personal secrets to
success, this is a valuable book even for those who are well-read in the
spiritual principles of abundance.
