Poisonous Chemicals
In Skin &
Hair Care Products
by Marcus Maldonado
Each and every day millions of
Americans are unknowingly exposing themselves to dangerous, toxic
chemicals. Some of these chemicals are absolutely, without a doubt known
to be cancer causing. While other chemicals are not linked to cancer, they
have been shown to contribute to hormonal disruptions, headaches,
allergies, depression, chronic fatigue, learning disabilities,
hyperactivity, and irritability. You are very likely a victim of this
dilemma and have been so since childhood. Believe
it or not, the very products that you have been taught to be beneficial
for you are the very products that contain ingredients that may be posing
a serious threat to your health. Products like soap, shampoo, lotion,
toothpaste, and make-up usually contain cheap, synthetic ingredients that
are suspiciously harmful. There are in fact more than 125
ingredients used on the skin suspected of causing cancer, 20 cause adverse
nervous system reactions, and 25 are connected to birth defects. What you
put on your skin penetrates and can enter your body. Transdermal patches
(like Nicotine patches) prove this.

These
“Little” wonders are perfect for the person who loves
information-packed books about improving their health but doesn’t
have the time or patience to read a 400 pager. Erika Dillman’s Little
Yoga Book, Little Foot Care Book and Little Soy Book
are mini-courses you can carry in your pocket and read when you have
a few minutes here or there.
We
don’t want to suggest bathroom reading (whoops, we just did), but
Dillman’s “Little” books are perfect for waiting rooms
(doctor, hairdresser, oil change) because you can easily pick up
where you left off last. In this forever-on-the-go world, it’s
hard to find time to educate yourself about health. Hence, Erika
Dillman’s “Little” books that make it simple to stay updated
on ways to improve and maintain your health.
Here’s
what people at OfSpirit.com had to say about these entertaining and
educational books:
“What
I liked most about The Little Yoga Book is all the sketches
that, without words, taught me the various yoga positions. I usually
glance through it just before exercising to remember the poses I
haven’t mastered.”
“I
guess the best thing about these books is how they’re not over
your head—easy to read and understand without having to be a
practitioner.”
“Wow,
soy is like the lifesaver of the new millennium. I learned how soy
can lower cholesterol, fight cancer and reduce the risk of heart
disease. The Little Soy Book explains ‘why’ soy is so
healthful and ‘how’ to incorporate it into our diets. Yea, I
really liked it and just bought one for my parents.”
“I
like Erika Dillman’s books because they’re like reference guides
that you don’t have to read cover to cover, but you still gain
tons of knowledge.”
“Discovering
how to substitute soy milk for cow’s milk in the recipes I already
have was important for me.”
“Anyone
who lives or works in the city will understand why I’m grateful
for Dillman’s Little Foot Care Book. It’s not a matter of
just pampering myself, it’s more about holistic health
care—treating the whole.”

Rare Appearance on June 15, Don't Miss!
Lessons In The Light
Lecture, Questions & Random Audience Readings
Vicki Monroe is the subject of
Bob Olson's article, Medium Rare: The Skeptic And The Psychic,
published in the Jan/Feb issue of Spirit of Change Magazine.
Imagine yourself
in the ballroom of an old Kennebunkport resort that is lighted
entirely by candles. The ocean breeze enters the room through the
oversized windows overlooking the water. The candle flames dance and your heart
begins to pound. Tonight is not just another
lecture about the after-life, but rather an interactive experience
that will forever change your life. Spirit messenger, Vicki Monroe,
enters the front of the room to answer the questions most people
have about her gift and the insight she has gained from it. As she
overlooks the audience, she isn’t just seeing the guests; she also
sees the spirits who guide these guests day by day. Tonight, your
spirit-guides have come hoping to be chosen by Vicki to communicate
the messages they have for you. As the evening progresses, the
summer sun will fade; but your heart will lighten from the lessons
you will learn.
June
15th, 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Nonantum Resort, 95 Ocean Ave.,
Kennebunkport, Maine. Lecture, Questions & Random Audience
Readings (you can request to not be read). Limited seating is only
