The
Healing Power Of Infinite Love & Gratitude
Bob
Olson: It
is my absolute pleasure to welcome Dr. Darren R. Weissman, the developer
of The LifeLine Technique™ and author of the new book, THE POWER OF
INFINITE LOVE & GRATITUDE, here to join us in this interview.
Darren’s book is selling at a phenomenal pace, so fast that it went into
its second printing almost right out of the gate.
Darren
is an internationally-renowned lecturer and has helped thousands of people
awaken to their limitless potential and the power of Infinite Love &
Gratitude. I first learned of Darren and his book at the “I Can Do
It!” Conference sponsored by Hay House in Las Vegas, and I had the
pleasure of being seated next to him during dinner one evening. I became
so enthralled by his message, as well as his enthusiasm and passion for
it, that I knew straight away that he is to become one of the next
prominent spiritual teachers of our time.
So
welcome, Darren, and let me begin by asking if you can explain the title
of your book, THE POWER OF INFINITE LOVE & GRATITUDE? How did you come
to choose that title and, for those who have not yet read your book, what
does it mean?
Dr.
Darren Weissman: Thanks for having me, Bob! Simply put, THE POWER OF
INFINITE LOVE & GRATITUDE is a universal healing frequency. It
harmonizes and balances emotions within the subconscious mind and body. I
chose this title because it’s at the foundation of a system of healing
that I’ve developed called The LifeLine Technique™.
Bob
Olson: Can you tell us,
Darren, what happens when we subconsciously disconnect from love and
gratitude? What are the implications?
Dr.
Darren Weissman: This is the ultimate question, Bob. When a person
subconsciously disconnects from love and gratitude, their body and life
begin to speak to them with symptoms of pain, fear, and/or stress.
This disconnection begins the most amazing running dialogue between
a person’s body, mind, and life…a conversation that helps a person to
recognize when their spirit is not flowing.
Bob
Olson: On the other side
of my last question, then, how is it that love heals?
Dr.
Darren Weissman: When we think of love, we have a natural tendency to
define it in terms of our own life experience. Consequently, it may seem
to some that we are naïve or infantile when we say that “love heals.”
However, with the advent of technology and cutting-edge science, we have
been able to document the healing effects of love. From the work of Dr.
Candace Pert (www.candacepert.com), who studied the biochemistry of
emotions, to the work of Dr. Masaru Emoto (www.masaruemoto.com), who
documented how sound, emotions, and thoughts change the molecular
structure of water, the question of whether love heals is no longer just a
theory.
In our clinic,
we have documented the impact of The LifeLine Technique™ and the Power
of Infinite Love & Gratitude, using dark field microscopy and live
blood cell analysis. Those pictures are both in my book and on the website
(www.infiniteloveandgratitude.com). What we see is that love is the subtle
web that connects everything. It manifests as the ultimate act of
acceptance, forgiveness, and compassion. As Mahatma Gandhi stated,
“Where there is love there is life.” Love not only heals the body, but
also families, different races, genders, and nations; it has the potential
to heal the planet. Love is
the universal energy that generates and facilitates change,
transformation, and movement.
Bob
Olson: And gratitude? Why
have you added gratitude to the formula and not just focused around love?
Dr.
Darren Weissman: Thank you for asking this question!
Gratitude gives meaning to an experience. We say “thank you” to
acknowledge people when they do nice things for us, such as holding open a
door, or giving us a gift. But
what about saying “thank you” for those gifts wrapped in strange
paper, such as challenges or obstacles? By expressing gratitude for the
pain, fear, and stresses of life, we become open to discovering the value
of the experience. Gratitude allows us to transcend the victimization of a
moment and transform it into a meaningful step along the journey. Finding
meaning in life is our ultimate purpose. It is by finding meaning that we
are able to change and grow.
Bob
Olson: Okay, then, do you
believe that there is a connection between emotions and illnesses? Please
explain.
Dr.
Darren Weissman: Yes, Bob. In fact, I would dare say that every
illness has a subconscious, emotional root. You see the primary function
of the subconscious mind is survival. It regulates all bodily function,
such as heart rate, blood pressure, hormones, digestion, blood sugar,
inflammation, immunity, muscle tone, the list goes on. Not only does the
subconscious regulate those functions, but it also holds onto emotions
that a person does not have the conscious
tools to process and deal with. This being said, every time one of those
subconscious emotions is triggered by something that we perceive that is
even remotely similar to the original emotional experience, the body
begins to respond as if it is experiencing that moment for the very first
time. You see, the amazing thing is that the brain and body do not know
the difference between imagination and reality.
When we have a thought, there is an immediate impact on the body
and all of its functions. It
does not matter if that thought is conscious or subconscious. Because the
subconscious mind is based solely on survival, it automatically triggers
an immediate physical response. The result is symptoms.
Bob
Olson: Symptoms exist as
a survival mechanism?
Dr.
Darren Weissman: Yes Bob, symptoms are a survival mechanism.
They are the language of the body.
They are a protective mechanism to let us know that a part of us
feels in danger. Symptoms are
the voice of the body to let us know that our body, mind, and life are out
of balance. Not until we
reconnect to the emotions in the subconscious mind will our body, mind, or
life stop speaking with symptoms of pain, fear, or stress.
They literally are a navigation system for helping a person to
spiritually awaken. They
help us find our center and reconnect to our truth.
Whether it’s a headache, fatigue, fibromyalgia, irritable bowels,
digestive challenges, autoimmune disease, or cancer, the root cause of all
symptoms and disease is the subconscious internalization, denial, or
disconnection from an emotion. Without
symptoms we would not have a way to consciously reconnect to a power that
we had subconsciously disconnected from.
Bob
Olson: Now, let’s talk about The LifeLine Technique™. You
reference it in your book and I know you offer a seminar on it. Please
tell us what it is, how you developed it and the benefits of learning it.
Dr.
Darren Weissman: The LifeLine Technique™ is a kinesiologically-based
holistic healing system that integrates the ancient practices of Five
Element Theory Acupuncture (without the needles), Ayurvedic Medicine, and
Shamanism, with aspects of modern day healing modalities, such as Applied
Kinesiology (AK), Total Body Modification (TMB), Neruo Linguistic
Programming (NLP), Eye-Movement Therapy (EMDR), Chakra Balancing, color
therapy and Homeopathy. It expands upon the work of Dr. Masaru Emoto, Dr.
Candace Pert, Louise L. Hay, and other renowned modern day scientists and
natural healers. The practitioner uses The LifeLine Technique™ Flow
Chart to guide him/her through the subconscious mind and body. It
harmonizes and releases emotions in the subconscious mind—the emotions
causing the body or a person’s life to speak with symptoms and stress.
Bob
Olson: Can you also tell
us the benefits that can be achieved from the use of this technique? I
know you probably can’t say specifically which disorders and illnesses
can be healed using it, but what conditions have you personally seen
healed? I’m wondering if this is mostly for mild symptoms and stress or
if this is also effective for chronic conditions, even terminal? Perhaps
you can even share a couple of patient stories with us.
Dr.
Darren Weissman: Medical
doctors and some holistic practitioners treat disease or symptoms. As
LifeLine Practitioners, we do not treat disease or symptoms, we
focus on people. While two people may have the same symptoms, the
journey to how their body began to express those symptoms was different;
therefore, the treatment process is different for each individual. We use
symptoms, stress, and disease as portals to release the emotions that are
the root cause of the way the body is expressing itself. People that have
suffered with both acute and chronic symptoms have been helped immensely.
For example, people with challenges such as lupus, multiple sclerosis,
fibromyalgia, cancer, ovarian cysts, infertility, allergies, headaches,
ADD-ADHD, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, bladder
infections, hepatitis, any aspect of pain, phobia, addictions, depression
and/or anxiety.
I would like to
share a few stories with you:
Barbara was
diagnosed with lupus, fibromyalgia, Reynaud’s syndrome and neuropathy.
She was in and out of hospitals over a period of 12 years, and taking
400-600 milligrams of various medications. Today, as the result of
treatments with The LifeLine Technique™, her body is no longer
expressing the symptoms of any of the aforementioned imbalances; she’s
on zero milligrams of medications, and her allopathic doctor is astonished
by the changes in her health.
Sandra had
three miscarriages over a period of four years and went through several
rounds of artificial insemination and invitro-fertilization without
getting pregnant. Today, as the result of treatments with The LifeLine
Technique™ and following The Five Basics for Optimal Health, Sandra is
the mother of two girls, both born 14 months apart.
Betty was
diagnosed with an eye condition known as macular holes. She was told by
her doctor that the condition would only get worse. However, after a few
months of treatments with The LifeLine Technique™, Betty’s eyes
improved. As a matter of fact, when she went back to the ophthalmologist,
he was surprised to see the changes. He pronounced her “cured.”
Justin, age
nine, suffered from allergies and cold-induced hives. He also had been
diagnosed with ADD. After a few treatments with The LifeLine Technique™
and following The Five Basics, the hives cleared up. Justin’s school
work improved tremendously. He was excited when he got his first-ever 100
percent score on a test.
Jennifer began
to see me when she was 47, for a slew of symptoms that manifested as
multiple food allergies, including fish, nuts and dairy products. The
allergies to fish and nuts were anaphylactic. She could look
at a Brazil nut, for example, and feel the tingling in her throat before
the choking sensation began. In addition, since early childhood, Jennifer
suffered with severe upper respiratory allergies at the beginning of
spring, which often became lung and sinus infections. During the course of
treating her with The LifeLine Technique™ over a three month period,
Jennifer consciously reconnected to several memories, including childhood
sexual abuse. Each memory was tied to one of the food and environmental
allergies. Using the Power of Infinite Love & Gratitude and the Five
Basics, the symptoms first dissipated then totally cleared. Six years
later, Jennifer still eats a variety of raw nuts daily, and has fish
several times a week.
Bob
Olson: You’ve referred
quite a bit to The Five Basics. Please elaborate.
Dr.
Darren Weissman: As I
said earlier, the body is a self-healing organism. To facilitate that
healing, however, we must provide the best possible conditions. A body
that is clinically dehydrated or coping with blood sugar metabolism
imbalances will have a difficult time healing. That’s why we conduct a
new client orientation with each of the people we work with to make sure
that they understand their responsibility in the healing process.
The Five Basics
of Optimal Health are the proper quantity, quality, and frequency of
water, food, rest, exercise, and owning your power. We partner with the
people that come to see us, being sure that they understand how to
implement The Five Basics for Optimal Health in their life.
The details of the program are spelled out in part two of my book, The
Power of Infinite Love & Gratitude. However, I’ll give you a
brief overview now.
We recommend
that our clients drink at least one quart of living water for every 50
pounds of body weight, rounding up. Write
the words Infinite Love & Gratitude written on your water container.
It is important to eat some form of protein every two hours of your
waking day. Adults need at least 7-9 hours of rest per night; children
need more. It is important to get at least 30 minutes of exercise every
day. You own your power when you stay in present time consciousness, as
well as embrace and acknowledge all of your experiences with love and
gratitude. The Five Basics help create the best possible balance for the
body…they are literally acts of self-love.
Bob
Olson: What makes The LifeLine Technique™ unique, Darren? I read
that it releases the root cause of symptoms and stress, but don’t other
healing treatments make the same claim?
Dr.
Darren Weissman:
Allopathic medicine refers to organ degeneration as the root cause of
illness. Some holistic practitioners talk about biochemical or nutritional
imbalances as the root cause. Chiropractors talk about subluxation as the
root cause. Chinese medicine, which is more than 5,000 years old, refers
to imbalance in the acupuncture meridians as the root cause. Thanks to new
technology and quantum physics, we’re now able to probe even deeper. The
flow of energy into the body via the chakras and through the acupuncture
meridians to the organs is no longer theory—it can be demonstrated.
Consequently, we know a whole lot more about the body and it’s energetic
roots than has been previously understood.
Louise Hay (www.louisehay.com)
was one of the first to talk about the connection between emotions and
health; Doctors Candace Pert (www.candacepert.com) and Masaru Emoto (www.hado.net) showed us
what this looks like under the microscope. These experiments tangibly
demonstrate that not just negative thoughts, but any internalized, denied, or disconnected thought, feeling, or limiting
belief has the power to stop the flow of energy from the chakras to the
acupuncture meridians, which feed every single cell of the body. Debbie
Shapiro, author of the seminal book,
Your Body Speaks Your Mind, talks about health in terms of wholeness,
“accepting and embracing all of yourself.” This is a critical
component of the healing process.
The LifeLine
Technique™ integrates all of these concepts and more.
Energy is always
in motion. When it is not in motion, it gets caught in a holding pattern
and the body begins to breakdown. Depending upon the nature of the
emotion, a particular acupuncture meridian is impacted. For example, the
acupuncture meridian of the gall bladder runs from the outer part of the
eyes, zigzagging through the head, down the body through the hip and knee,
and ending in the fourth toe on each foot. Symptoms of knee pain, shoulder
pain, headaches, depression, and anger can all be attributed to imbalance
in the gall bladder acupuncture meridian.
The real
question is what stops the flow
of energy? The answer is emotion being held on a subconscious
level. This is tangible not only because of
Dr. Emoto’s work, but also demonstrated in the darkfield
microscopy pictures of live blood cell analysis you will find on our
website (www.infiniteloveandgratitude.com),
as well as in the appendix of my book.
What all of these pictures show is how the words Infinite Love & Gratitude impact the molecular structure
of water, be it distilled or tap water, or the water that makes up 70-90
percent of body, including blood, muscles, bones, tissue, etc.
I just want to
take another couple of minutes to talk briefly about how important it is
to understand the workings of the subconscious
mind, because this is truly what makes The LifeLine Technique™ unique.
The function of the subconscious mind is to help the spirit survive when
it has disconnected from pure love. We disconnect from pure love when we
do not have the tools to handle the trauma or stress of an experience. The
allergic reactions that Jennifer was experiencing are a good example. The
allergies were the way the subconscious mind expressed those internalized
or disconnected feelings. Sometimes the body speaks to us literally—she
was choking back the painful truth being held in the subconscious mind.
Once she reconnected to those memories, she had the power to make a
choice—to fully own the feelings—and the body could subsequently heal
itself. The allergies disappeared. The LifeLine Technique™ decodes the
language of the subconscious mind so that it can manifest as
consciousness. Only when a person is conscious do they realize that they
have a choice in any given moment.
Bob
Olson: All right. Then
how does all this compare to the simple act of positive thinking? One
might think that what you’re doing is similar to positive thinking, or
might even question if your technique merely acts as the catalyst for a
placebo effect. Can you comment?
Dr.
Darren Weissman: That’s a great question, Bob! First and foremost,
only two percent of the mind is conscious. The other 98 percent is
subconscious. Positive thinking works with the conscious mind and is
limited if there are subconscious, emotional patterns that are opposing
the positive thoughts. As I noted earlier, the subconscious mind functions
for survival reasons and speaks with physical symptoms; painful, scary, or
stressful situations; abusive relationships, and/or addictions as a means
to communicate with the person so that they can reconnect
to what they need to do to heal. When we become consciously aware of
the fear, anger, or low self esteem that we’ve been holding, which is
expressing itself as neck pain, migraine headaches or digestive system
challenges, we’re able to fully embrace the process. The LifeLine
Technique™ makes possible the “ah-hah” moment; it’s the moment of
transformation from unconscious to conscious.
The Five Basics further facilitate the process so that we can stay
present in the moment and heal.
Bob
Olson: Many people
develop new techniques and exclusively teach it to other healing arts
practitioners. But I noticed from your literature and your website that
your seminars are open to anyone, without any noted pre-qualifications.
Why is that?
Dr. Darren Weissman:
Our mission is to help all people understand that they have the potential
and power to heal. They just need to understand the language of the body.
Anyone can learn The LifeLine Technique™--it is both for laypersons and
professionals. We have Certified LifeLine Practitioners that are
stay-at-home mothers, doctors of western medicine, chiropractors,
psychologists, social workers and massage therapists. The seminar is for
anyone looking to heal themselves or learn how they can help others heal.
Learning The LifeLine Technique™ is a healing process in and of itself.
Bob
Olson: I watched a great
video on your website, www.infiniteloveandgratitude.com/LifeLineTechnique.htm,
that really helped me to understand what the seminar is all about. And in
that video, I kept seeing you using the universal sign-language mode for
“I love you.” Can you explain what it is that you are doing with your
hand and how this helps to people to heal?
Dr. Darren Weissman: This sign language hand mode means “I love
you.” Coupled with the
intention and the evocation of the words “Infinite Love &
Gratitude,” this is a universal healing frequency. It harmonizes the
mind, body, and spirit. Combining The LifeLine Technique™ Flow Chart,
muscle testing, and a person’s intention of Infinite Love &
Gratitude, a person is able to both harmonize and translate symptoms and
stress of the body and life into opportunities of growth and
transformation.
Bob Olson:
Does it matter how quickly the words are said or the hand gesture is made?
And would it be more effective if the person being healed said the words
and made the hand gesture instead of the practitioner?
Dr. Darren Weissman: There
are some practitioners who say the words aloud and others who say them
quietly. Just thinking “Infinite Love & Gratitude” is effective,
too. I heard a story about a woman who is not one of my patients. She was
on an airplane suffering from a horrific case of shingles. A friend had
told her about “Infinite Love & Gratitude” and she began to it
repeat over and over again to herself, while holding the “I love you”
hand mode over one of the painful areas. Within 10 minutes, the pain and
itching subsided, and by the time she landed, the redness and swelling had
immensely diminished. The intention of both the practitioner and the
client are very important. I work with people who have the intention that
there is something they want to change or create. As a practitioner, it is
imperative to be in Present Time Consciousness or PTC; to hold that space
for the client. In this way, we are able to provide the best treatment
possible.
Bob Olson: Unfortunately,
that’s about all the time we have. Is there anything you’d like to add
that I missed?
Dr. Darren Weissman: Yes,
Bob. I’d like to make sure people understand that healing and changing
need not be difficult. In a complex world, inundated with fear at every
turn, the simplicity of healing is that it begins and ends with love. If
people would like more information about The LifeLine Technique™ and The
Power of Infinite Love & Gratitude, they can register online or on our
website, www.infiniteloveandgratitude.com,
or call our toll free number, 866.398.9864.
Bob Olson:
I should also mention to our audience that your book, The
Power of Infinite Love & Gratitude, has received raving quotes
from high profile people: Louise L. Hay, Dr. Masaru Emoto, Dr. Candace
Pert, Gregg Braden, Gary Renard, Carol Ritberger, Cate Montana and Colette
Baron-Reid. I highly encourage readers to get a copy of the book. Thank
you so much, Darren, for answering all my questions. It’s been a
pleasure having the opportunity to interview you.
Dr.
Darren Weissman:
Thank you, Bob. The pleasure has been all mine. Infinite Love &
Gratitude.
